Kith and Giorgio Armani are back with another collection, and this time, there are two shoe collaborations hidden within the line. On Friday, the Italian luxury label and the NYC-based sneaker and streetwear firm showcased its “Dreams of the Dune” collection, the third chapter of their ongoing collaboration, with a runway show in the Agafay Desert, south of Marrakech. During the sunset event in Morocco, Kith and Giorgio Armani showcased footwear capsules developed with Asics and Diemme. Each a longstanding Kith collaborator, both brands enter their first partnerships with Giorgio Armani via this new collection. Looking closer, Giorgio Armani and Asics collaborate by way of Kith, with the three brands presenting the Gel-Mai 0.1 sneaker in two colorways. The first “Quarry” colorway is executed in pigskin suede with hairy suede overlays, while “Safari” is presented in pigskin suede and nubuck. Both sneaker models feature Giorgio Armani and Kith co-branding on the lateral side, alternating Kith and Asics logo treatments on the heel, alternating Fieg and Asics branding on the tongue, and “Dreams of the Dune” artwork on the sockliner.
