And while the model will likely continue the current trend of debuting at retail in an all-white “Halo” tribute colorway for Aug. 23 birthday, the early news confirms that one of the Kobe 7’s original fan-favorite styles will also be making a return. The Nike Kobe 7 “Invisibility Cloak” from 2012 will receive its first-ever rerelease when the model undergoes its Protro transformation in 2027. With its iridescent color-changing upper, the Invisibility Cloak colorway was a reference to Bryant’s well-documented love of the Harry Potter series and its magical garments.
