“The Greatest” is a limited series that offers an intimate exploration of the incomparable life of the boxing champion, humanitarian and global icon Muhammad Ali. Prime Video hosted a premiere for the show on Tuesday at Regal Times Square in New York, and Michael B. Jordan, Omari Hardwick, Michael Ealy, more of the show’s stars and the late boxer’s family were in attendance.
The show is executive produced by Lonnie Ali, the wife of the late luminary, and produced by Outlier Society, the film and television production company the “Sinners” star founded in 2016. Jay-Z’s Roc Nation is also attached to the project.

“The Greatest” is the first authorized scripted series about Ali’s life, offering unprecedented access and going beyond the amazing victories and defeats that made Ali a legend, both in and out of the ring. The show stars Jaalen Best as Cassius Clay/Muhammad Ali; Hardwick and Dana Gourrier star as his parents, with additional performances by Ealy, Amin Joseph, Kai Parham and more.
