Black Shoes Trend at the 2026 WSJ. Magazine Innovator Awards

The 2026 WSJ. Magazine Innovator Awards took place at the Museum of Modern Art on Thursday in New York, and the guests arrived in many all-black ensembles paired with an array of all-black shoes. Jimmy Choo, Gianvito Rossi and more designer shoes were popular choices on the red carpet, and luxury footwear designer Christian Louboutin hit the red carpet wearing one of his own men’s styles. Dua Lipa, Rosalia, Ashley Graham and Lupita Nyong’o showed off pumps, sandals and more styles on the blue carpet. Take a look at the best black shoe moments at the event below.
