When it comes to footwear, red carpet style might be strongly associated with classic pumps, formal sandals, lace-up dress shoes and loafers — but a variety of silhouettes belonging to the boot category have hit red carpets too, lately.
Naomi Ackie, for example, recently attended the premiere of “Clayface” wearing a horsebit-adorned Gucci knee-high boot, and Paris Hilton showcased a dramatic crystal-embellished Christian Loubotin thigh-high boot at the VMAs last month.
