No one has had a rookie year as strong as 50 Cent did in 2003. The rapper, who was born Curtis Jackson, dropped his debut album, “Get Rich or Die Tryin'” in February of that year and hit the ground running, while always wearing a great pair of shoes. The New York native took his street smarts and style all the way to the top of the charts, and shortly after the massive success of his first album, he became the first non-athlete to sign an endorsement deal with Reebok.
The hitmaker released his G-Unit sneaker collection with the brand, cementing himself as part of the sneaker history books. From being a hip-hop star to becoming a TV mogul and Hollywood star, he has stayed true to his New York style through every facet of his life. From Air Force 1s and Air Jordan sneakers to designer dress shoes and sneakers, take a look at 50 Cent’s best shoe moments throughout his career.
